As teenagers, we discovered a HUGE issue: water wastage during Wudu. By our estimation, we realized that by leaving the tap running while doing wudu, Muslims in North America waste over 14 million liters of water every day!

We were stunned by this environmental impact. Another concern is that some Muslims avoid doing wudu due to the discomfort of overcrowded and dirty public restrooms, resulting in missed prayers.

After further research, we discovered that the Sunnah is to use 1 mudd of water per wudu. Upon realizing taps are too imprecise for this task, we knew we needed a change.
